What is LeadLab+
Expanding LeadLab Services
(Starting January 2026)
LeadLab+ builds on the LeadLab Growth Series, offering four ways to strengthen leaders.
➡ Growth Series | ➡ Workshops | ➡ Support | ➡ Resources
These services are tailored to the needs of your division, union, conference, or organization. They can be integrated with your existing initiatives, used separately or together. LeadLab+ services are designed to support leaders and teams to thrive so the church’s mission can flourish in every context.
LeadLab Growth Series
The Growth Series is the original LeadLab experience—a six-month journey of learning, practice, reflection, and growth. More than a program, it is a formative process that shapes leaders personally, equips them to develop others, and strengthens the church’s mission through leadership multiplication.
In LeadLab 1.0, the Global Leadership Institute team partners directly with your division or attached field to run the series. Together we design a pathway tailored to your priorities, anchored by two four-day face-to-face intensives: LeadLab Launch, which sets the journey in motion, and LeadLab Forward, where participants return to share their multiplication projects and reflect on what they have learned.
In LeadLab 2.0, unions and local conferences who have already completed a 1.0 experience begin running their own Growth Series with graduates serving as facilitators. Our team continues to support this process—especially during the Launch and Forward events—while providing coaching, mentoring, and resources that help the series thrive.
In LeadLab 3.0, the same principles and process are brought closer to the local church, equipping pastors and elders. Here, the Growth Series touches directly how local leaders think, minister, and multiply, embedding LeadLab’s DNA of application, reflection, community, and multiplication at the grassroots level.
Wherever it is offered, the Growth Series is a formative journey tailored to your field, union, conference, or local church, preparing leaders to grow personally, invest in others, and multiply leadership capacity for God’s mission.
LeadLab Workshops
When your field faces a specific challenge you may not need a full Growth Series. Sometimes the most urgent need is to bring leaders together around a single issue. LeadLab Workshops provide that focused space to learn, reflect, and act together —short, co-created, and tailored to your context,
Workshops are designed in partnership with your field, addressing the topics that matter most in your setting. These may include innovation, conflict management, strategic alignment, engaging public officials, or other crucial issues shaping your mission. You choose the topic and participants, and together we craft the format to maximize learning and participation.
Each workshop is a short, high-impact experience—ranging from two days to two weeks, offered online or face-to-face. Using the same participatory LeadLab process as the Growth Series, LeadLab Workshops combine spiritual reflection, practical learning, and peer interaction. Leaders leave with both fresh insight and concrete tools they can immediately apply in their ministry or organization.
LeadLab Support
Even the best leaders and organizations reach moments when outside support makes the difference. LeadLab Support offers practical, confidential help for leaders and teams who want to move forward with clarity and confidence.
Here are ways we can walk alongside you:
Keynote speakers – Draw from the GLI team or our network of trusted LeadLab leaders—people with both competence and a heart for building up others. Through conferences, retreats, and leadership gatherings, we bring messages that intersect meaningfully with the programs you are already organizing.
Mentoring and coaching – Mentoring connects leaders with seasoned voices who can walk alongside them at crucial moments of their personal journey. Coaching provides confidential, trained guidance at transition points in organizations or teams, helping leaders navigate challenges and discover fresh perspectives.
Leader assessment – Much of leadership deals with intangibles—attitudes, values, relationships, energy. Assessments help make these dynamics visible, giving leaders a clearer picture of where they stand. This provides a strategic starting point for growth, deepening awareness, commitment, and capacity.
Program evaluation – Evaluation is not simply about measuring numbers—it is about discerning how well strategies align with mission and whether they mobilize human potential. We work with you to evaluate the impact of initiatives, the effectiveness of leader development programs, and the outcomes of major projects, always with the goal of learning and strengthening commitment.
Facilitation – Support for boards or leadership teams who need outside perspective to break through barriers, resolve conflict, or pursue greater strategic clarity.
Each service is contextualized with you—not a one-size-fits-all package, but a search together for solutions that fit your leaders and mission.
LeadLab Resources
Leadership growth doesn’t stop when a program ends. That’s why we have invested deeply in resources that keep leaders growing, connected, and multiplying—long after the last session closes.
At the heart of this is the LeadLab Network, already active and thriving. Each cohort of a LeadLab Growth Series has secure access to its own session recordings—including the presentations, conversations, and participant questions that surfaced field-specific challenges and insights. Protecting these experiences honors the integrity of each group while giving graduates a powerful tool for ongoing learning. Leaders return to these recordings again and again—comparing notes, refreshing insights, and using them as resources to multiply growth among the leaders they influence.
Other resources are steadily expanding:
The forthcoming LeadLab book will serve as both a Field Guide and a learning tool. It can anchor spontaneous learning groups at every level of the church—from local congregations to field leadership teams—guiding them through practical steps for leader growth.
A growing library of digital tools—videos, podcasts, articles, and presentations—makes leadership content accessible for those who want to dig deeper or share resources with their teams.
Custom materials, created in partnership with fields or organizations, provide tailored solutions for unique challenges.
All of these represent our deep commitment to the global church: we live for your growth. These resources are not held back—they are shared freely and shaped with the goal that leaders everywhere can benefit, strengthen their capacity, and multiply what God is doing through them.
